Prama Soma:
The Wisdom of the Body
Prama Soma comes from two roots: Prama, meaning truth or right measure, and Soma, meaning body. Together, Prama Soma translates to “Body Wisdom" or "Body Truth." This phrase expresses the essence of my methodology: the understanding that the body carries its own intelligence, one that is deeper than conscious thought and often more honest than the stories of the mind. Through compassionate attention, mindful movement, and therapeutic presence, I help clients reconnect with this innate wisdom.
When we listen to our body, we uncover truths about our emotions, stress, and patterns of being. The body speaks in sensation, tension, breath, and posture—offering clues to both where we are holding pain and where we can find release. By honoring these signals, we cultivate a pathway to balance, resilience, and wholeness.
Prama Soma is not about fixing the body from the outside, but about remembering that healing is already within. It is a practice of trust: trusting the body’s messages, trusting its capacity to guide us back to alignment, and trusting the natural rhythm of restoration that comes when we make space to listen.
In my practice, Prama Soma becomes both a philosophy and a process—an invitation to come home to yourself, through the language of the body.
